Google Code - Updates: Google welcomes ISO decision on OOXML

Google issued a letter, in which it welcomes ISO on their decision to drop OOXML from fast approval.

I personally think this is a great thing that there's no one huge body (read Microsoft) anymore that can pressure people to their mind. I hope that Google and others can create enough counter-weight to balance things. I'm glad that ISO can decide things based on technical merit sometimes.
