Automobiles recall. Rings a bell?

So, do you think problems with hardware are the computer industry prerogative?

Guess again. From news site in Russian: http://e-news.com.ua/show/151516.html

Fast translation:

Yesterday Mazda Motors has recalled more than 280000 cars. It is the largest recall in history of Japanese car maker.

Around 287980 Demio and Verisa models, manufactured between 2002 and 2006 are being recalled. Most of them were sold locally, but some 25000 were sold abroad.

The recall was performed for two reasons: protective covering on cylindrical springs on amortizes was put with technological errors, which can lead to a springs corrosion; another problem was not complete coverage of hydraulics systems, which can lead to a problem within a clutch system.

In a meanwhile, no accidents were reported as the result of these problems.

So, Sony, you're not alone :-)
